Terms of Service

Chapter 1: General Provisions

Article 1 (Purpose) These Terms and Conditions aim to specify the conditions and procedures for using the services provided by MetaImmuneTech, Inc. (hereinafter referred to as the "Company") on its official website (http://metaimmunetech.kr/), as well as the rights, obligations, and responsibilities of the users and the Company. Article 2 (Definitions) The terms used in these Terms and Conditions are defined as follows: 1. User: Any person who uses the services provided by the Company under these Terms and Conditions. 2. Service Agreement: An agreement entered into between the Company and the User regarding the use of services. 3. Registration: The act of completing a service agreement by filling out the required information in the application form provided by the Company and agreeing to these Terms and Conditions. 4. Member: A person who has provided personal information required for membership registration on the website. 5. User ID: A combination of letters and numbers selected by the User and approved by the Company for identification and service use. 6. Password: A combination of letters, numbers, and special characters set by the User to protect personal information. 7. Service Termination: The intention to terminate the service agreement by either the Company or the Member after using the service. Article 3 (Effectiveness and Amendment of Terms) 1. These Terms and Conditions take effect when posted on the service screen or notified through a notice board or other methods. 2. The Company reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions when necessary. The amended Terms and Conditions will be announced on the service screen. If the User does not express objections and continues to use the service for seven days or more after the announcement, it will be deemed as consent to the amended Terms. 3. If a User disagrees with the amended Terms, they may terminate their membership and cease using the service. If they continue using the service, it will be considered as agreement to the amended Terms. Article 4 (Applicable Regulations) Matters not specified in these Terms and Conditions shall be governed by relevant laws such as the Framework Act on Telecommunications and the Telecommunications Business Act.

Chapter 2: Service Use Agreement

Article 5 (Formation of Service Agreement) The service agreement is established when the User's application is approved by the Company and the User agrees to the Terms and Conditions. Article 6 (Application for Use) Users can apply for service by completing and submitting the required personal information on the service’s membership information screen. Article 7 (Approval of Application) 1. The Company will approve applications unless there are special circumstances, provided the applicant has accurately completed the application form. 2. The Company may refuse approval in the following cases:a. If the application is not in the real name of the applicant.b. If the application uses another person’s identity.c. If false information is provided in the application.d. If the application is intended to harm public order or morals.e. If the application does not meet the Company’s requirements. Article 8 (Changes to Contract Details) Members must update their information if there are changes to the details provided during the application process. The Member is responsible for any issues caused by failure to update information.

Chapter 3: Obligations of Contracting Parties

Article 9 (Obligations of the Company) The Company will not disclose or distribute Members’ personal information to third parties without their consent, except as required by law, such as for investigative purposes or as specified by related regulations. Article 10 (Obligations of Members) 1. Members shall not engage in the following activities while using the service:a. Illegally using another Member’s ID.b. Reproducing or distributing information obtained from the service to third parties.c. Infringing on the copyrights or rights of the Company or third parties.d. Spreading content that violates public order or morals.e. Engaging in criminal activities.f. Violating other applicable laws. 2. Members may not use the service for commercial activities, and the Company is not responsible for outcomes arising from such use. 3. Members may not transfer, assign, or provide their service usage rights or contractual status to others.

Chapter 4: Service Use

Article 11 (Scope of Service Use) Members can use the service only after completing the registration process and receiving their ID and password from the Company. Article 12 (Provision of Information) The Company may provide Members with information deemed necessary through email, postal mail, or other methods. Article 13 (Service Suspension) 1. The Company may temporarily suspend services due to unavoidable circumstances such as natural disasters. 2. The Company may limit or suspend services for maintenance, repair, or other unavoidable reasons. Article 14 (Restriction and Termination of Use) 1. The Company may restrict or terminate the service if a Member violates the Terms or disrupts normal operations. 2. Immediate termination of the service may occur if the Member:a. Registers false information during sign-up.b. Interferes with another user’s service or breaches e-commerce ethics.c. Violates applicable laws or public order.

Chapter 5: Miscellaneous

Article 17 (Liability) 1. The Company is not responsible for damages incurred from free services unless caused by gross negligence or willful misconduct. 2. Members must compensate the Company for any damages caused by their violations of the Terms or illegal acts. Article 18 (Dispute Resolution) Disputes arising from service use will be resolved through mutual agreement. If unresolved, the competent court will be the one with jurisdiction over the Company’s headquarters. Effective Date These Terms take effect on December 6, 2024.
